Bought my first car 1949 Pontiac Torpedo Back for 40.00 with the one dollar per parade attended as Reservist...(2 per week). I was in Communications Research which is same as CT in the USN...worked with these fellows. Left Navy with rank of Master Seaman E-5 equivalent I believe.

FScarjunkie.....1961-65, I was stationed at NAS Ford Island, Pearl Harbor then transferred to Barbers Point Hawaii. Jan, 1964 was transferred to a squadron stationed at Alameda, Calif. We did summer training aboard the USS Hancock CV19 aircraft carrier. Fall of '64, sailed to South China Sea. We supported Vietnam. I worked on the flight deck as a plane captain, very interesting working the flight deck at night, one plane crashed and burned, fire lighted up the sky, bullets going off in the fire, pilot didn't get out. God bless our men and women in service.

Just returned from Camp Lejune N.C. Went to visit my Son and take him his Vehicle after completing MOS...He is 2nd CeeBee MAC (Mobile Assault Company)...I think this is correct...Anyway it was good to be back in a Military Town...

I've always been a loyal Ford owner, have owned and loved many Mustangs. Even if I hadn't, Ford would have earned my undying loyalty from scratch just for this commercial. Whoever was behind producing this little work of art got so many things just right.

1966-1972: Navigator KC-135 tanker. 1972-1989 C-130 Navigator with USAF reserves in Willow Grove PA. Many trips to Thailand, Central America and South America.
Retired as a Lt Colonel in 1989.
