Pre Production Car - Articles online and in Magazines

Hello all!

Having finalized the purchase of 1PP09, (vin 1ZVHT82H485113456) a 2008 Bullitt, I look forward to some very rewarding times with car..as owner number 6! Currently, about 36200 on the odometer.

I am looking for magazines/articles specifically with this bullitt production number.

During my quest, I have found an article on 1PP04 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt - Bullitt Is Back - Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords Magazine

And...I have found this on 1PP08 http://reviews.carreview.com/2008-fo...ullitt-preview

I am also trying to find a set of original floor mats for this (not fun) so if anyone has a set they would like to sell, please send a pm.

As far as I know, Bullitt floor mats are the same as Mustang GT mats. Jaeger Brothers has the OEM Mustang GT floor mats. The mats without the serged edge were exactly the same as the original mats in my 2009 Bullitt. They also offer some very nice splash guards that fit without any modifications.

2008/09 Bullitts had plain, black/charcoal floor mats. Not ones that said "Bullitt" or had any ornamentation. If someone has their car not in storage (like mine is), they could take a photo of the part number on the bottom of them. It should be M-something and then you could probably order them from a Ford Dealer, or maybe find them on eBay.

As far as magazines go, I have as comprehensive a collection of 2008 Bullitt magazines as likely exists. I think my collection is something like 24 different magazines featuring Bullitt articles. Many of them drove PP cars for their articles, and some posted pictures of the strut tower badge. I'll try to look through them when I get home and report back if any feature your car.

THANK YOU SIR! I was led to believe that they came with BULLITT Embroidered on them! Regarding the articles.. so far I have been told that this 20131123_140752.jpg Photo by WMUCarGuy | Photobucket features my car 1PP09 and I am trying to locate a copy of it.. and any others I can find with this specific car

Thank you again!

Floor mats? When I bought a donut spare, jack, etc. from a local wrecked 'em yard off an '09 GT, I noticed it's floor mats. Picked 'em up and asked how much. The response was "just take 'em." I figured free was a very good price, so I did.

Congratulations! Cool to have a PP numbered vehicle! And yes, WMUCarGuy probably has the best list of magazines in his archives, so there you go. Oh, and make sure you let one of the Bullitt registry maintainers know about your acquisition.

All Set on the mats. Found a set of NOS, and good used. Fair price for all. Got them to go...and now for show! Correct color and part number!

I didn't have a chance to look through my magazines, but check out this thread where most of them are posted.

I'll try to look through them at some point, too.
