Well let's get back on Topic. What are the chances of this happening? Maybe 50/50. Or is Ford just yanking our chain?

Actually, I have mixed feeling about a new Bullitt. Exciting that the model continues, at least one more time. Gives this forum something to talk about. On the other hand, I am not sure I really want to spend that much money on another toy. So if Ford does not produce this car, maybe I should thank them for saving me a lot of money.

As cool as this would be, I won't be buying one. Heck, I would be lucky if I could afford the base model EcoBoost Mustang. If it happens, I'll have to count on some of you guys to talk about how wonderful the new one is.

Hey Jack,

Like you I'm thinking I have spent enough dollars with Ford for awhile on a Bullitt Mustang.

Now if Ford would get Serious about coming out with the 50th Anniversary Bullitt Mustang and have it with some really High-H/P or even maybe a S/C people might just jump on it.

But if all they do is to try to collect on the movie Bullitt with Steve McQueen back in 1968 by adding a Little increase in Power and Strip the Decals I think it will not sell.

Of course as it stands none of us really know if this is even going to take place.

Using Luxury and Bullitt is a bit of a stretch, and in a sentence it surely is an oxymoron.

Yep. Oxymoron.

That's what I called myself while I was working under the B this afternoon, and the wrench slipped AGAIN and hit my thumb in the same place AGAIN.

For the third time.

Anywho, back to the original topic... Ford never does anything unintentionally. Especially regarding new product release. They take security very seriously.
So the wall posters seen in the Rock video was definitely on-purpose. No question.

Also, no-question, they are monitoring the forums for reactions.

Now whether that means that an actual 2018 Bullitt is forthcoming...?
They're putting a lot of effort/cost into a marketing survey.

So.....

I can see it all now. "Tigermachine II," the sequel. I can hardly wait.
