This. But really, I think it makes sense as a final send off to the Bullitt name. 50 years. Sadly I just bought a new commuter car, so the chances of me getting one are pretty slim. I know alot of people say no one knows what the Bullitt is anymore, but plenty of people I work with are prime Mustang buying age (40-60) and know what it is. Ford would almost be dumb not to make one, with all of the cool special versions the other companies are cranking out.

Dodge has SRT, Scat pack, hellcat, T/A, now the Demon.

Could be a Mach 1 though haha.

I think the other reason they'd be dumb not to... they have just about everything they need. I'm sure there will be some one of pieces to make, but then they get money for selling them after market too.

De-badge, paint it green, 5 spoke wheels, Ford performance pack, BOOOOOOM

This was posted by the member "Bullitt" on Mustang6G so as a fellow Bullitt Owner he could just be hoping it happens as well and reading into it. It would be great if it happens but lots of things point to the Mach 1. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I love my 09 though so I'll be hanging on to it. But if the did drop one you bet I'll be test driving it for kicks!

Exclamation Eee-Gads!

Geez, I sure HOPE it isn't so. Last time a new Bullitt came out, some of the guys had to get THERAPY DOGS! It wasn't pretty. There were '08 Bullitt owners hung in effigy. There was crying, screaming and the gnashing of teeth. Terse words flew like bats from a cave. I was personally hit repeatedly in the head with NEGAN'S BAT and buried under an avalanche of red squares! It was ugly. God, I hope it isn't true!

Looking back on it, I can agree with the premise that just perhaps Sonny & Cher were a bit over the top in their automotive selections.

An '18 Bullitt? Anything is possible, I suppose. But I do keep in mind that the '08-'09 models were dogs as far as sales numbers are concerned. Ford does prefer to sell many cars...

The 2018 Ford Mustang retires its V6 and evolves into a better car

The V6 is dead and the overall theme of the restyle is "1968 all over again"

Hmmmmmm....
