I'm sure you're aware HW now has a 50th collection for the Camaro. I found 7 of 8 in the series. I've looked all over and can't find #1, a 1967 Camaro.

2001 DHG Bullitt. Bought new on 9-29-01. 4.10 gears, drilled and slotted rotors. 9" front and 10.5 rear black Bullitt rims. GT fog lights and Mach 1 chin spoiler. SR lowering springs, JLT Ram Air, Webtronics sequentials, MRT hood struts, MSD c.o.p.s

I have the set. The 67 is the hardest to find. A-holes go in and take all of them. I'll do some poking around and see if another can be found.

I wonder why just the 67? Did a group of Faceplant people conspire to go around the country and scarf the 67s, just to be buttheads? Thanks for the offer, Brad. I have a friend that I think has an extra one or 2. He is the type to be at WM at 2 in the morning to go through the new boxes.

I think part of it has to do with variation collectors. Some of the engines are painted body color while others are bare metal. Of course if it were Mustangs I might do the same. Who am I kidding, I have. There was a five pack out a few years ago that had the 65 vert in two versions, one with plastic base and another metal. I just had to get both.
Good hear you might have a line on one. I'll still peak around and maybe hide it just in case.

Wow, Brad. It appears your neck of the woods is getting some newbies. Have you noticed that for the most part, the Camaro set has disappeared? Some stores have none. Only one WalMart that I went to had any, of course still no 67. I even went to Toys R Us, and none there. The guy says he hasn't gotten the set at all.

Actually cars have dried up here. Only the Camaro and re-release of the Batman set is all that has been new here since early January. And I believe the Camaro series is exclusive Wally World. TRU, K-Mart, Target, or any other retailer will not have them. Hopefully, March will bring out some more cars and sets.

And tomorrow is another collector day at Kmart. I'll see what I can find there after work but didn't do so hot last time out. It is the lone Kmart remaining in the area. If it is a bust this time around I'll likely not try again.
