TimSpeed Rhino Day...was yesterday. don't make plans to attend...you missed it!!!

well, the locals screamed for another Rhino Day at the world famous TimSpeed Garage and Performance Center.

so, to accommodate and start the ball rolling, although we already had a good tune (appropriate for our facility and notice in the lower right hand corner who produced the video on line.):

http://video.search.yahoo.com/video/play;_ylt=A2KLqIQ2oJRT7igAYRz7w8QF;_ylu=X3oDMTByMj BzZmhtBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDdmlkBHZ0aWQDBGdwb3MDNg--?p=golden+earring&vid=36358da376bb7e25e66c6c1103aca2e4&l=4%3A44&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fts3.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DVN.6 08054098122375850%26pid%3D15.1&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Da1 sf2CzEq0w&tit=Golden+earring+-+Twilight+zone&c=1&sigr=11apfaiv8&sigt=10u7tsiei&pstcat=arts+culture+and+entertainment&age=0&&tt=b

we here at TimSpeed decided that maybe a new tuner may be needed for the types of clients that were planning on attending. you see, we had sent out scouts to see who might want to attend and thus, the decision for a new tuner was made.

the decision makers for the new tuner were part of our background regulars who had offered tunes in the past, but they too realized that a new one would be needed.

here were our previous tuners that took care of our clients...

of course these were the original tuners but you see how far they got...

so we got this guy

and after reviewing the possible tuning hardware out there which included these (couldn't get agreement on the color):

then something a little more plain..but heavier duty...

then a yet stouter piece...

we finally decided on this one to go with our new tuner. He indicated he liked it and could do the job.

so, stay tuned for the intro to the locals who showed up for another round of Rhino Day here at TimSpeed.

sent scout out and prior to, for the local Rhino Day last Saturday at TimSpeed.

also, figured it couldn't hurt to have the Rhinostrich tag along to drum up some business for runs...

somehow, the Rhinostrich got lost and wound up in downtown Tampa, in the port area and next to the Aquarium. Found these guys, but realized they would have a tough time making it back to the ultra modern TimSpeed Performance Garage for testing...

The Rhinostrich did manage to find a cousin to participate...

Scout came up with a few contestants as well.

This first one, really didn't want to make the trek to TimSpeed and seem a bit skittish about participating, but Scout, being the intimidator that he is, talked him into it and got him to come out of his shell.
slow but steady (no power adder, but maybe a reducer):

this guy was ready to roll, as long as some peanuts were available for after the run.

this one was found in a colorful part of town.

the next contestant was going to give a run for it's money for anyone on RHP (remember that's rhino horn power)

this contestant was definitely old school

this on-looker had to removed, he just wouldn't stop harassing the contestants...said the whole event was what it was quacked up to be.

this one, after all the runs were done, came up a little short.

another of the contestants:

this one came by but said he had already stuck his neck out just to get to our facility, so he wasn't going to run.

thus, the eventual winner, and our youngest contestant to win the RHP contest at TimSpeed was....

all and all, a pretty good showing and another successful Rhino Day here at TimSpeed.

Thanx, it was quite a show. Mutual of Omaha would have had to adjust their cameras for this one...

seems by the number of comments and views (low), RhinoDay has lost it's appeal. guess will have to give up on reporting it or see if the upcoming AlbinoDay would generate more interest. Couldn't even get the Kraut to come back for the Rhinostrich and to see the Rhenquin.
