not sure, but I think it was 135 thru the Ozarks that Jim and I took one time from one of the Nats after leaving St.Louis,MO. very twisty, reminded me of the Tail. BTW, Nats wasn't in St. Louis, A friend lives there and we left the Nats and went to see him, then headed south to come back to FL. It was probably the Indy Nats. only other one that far west for me was Tulsa.

Two defining forces died for you. Jesus Christ died for your soul. The American Soldier died for your freedom.

Valley of Fire State Park - Nevada

There are several scenic roads at the Valley of Fire State Park - Nevada. The park is located about 1 hour's drive Northeast of Las Vegas.

Alas, you WILL find these roads clogged with slow moving motorhomes...very few passing areas.
Got a photos of any of these?

Not really, but on any East-West running road over the Cascades or Coast range, you'll see mountains, trees, rivers, that kind of stuff.

On 2nd thought...here's one. If you can't read the sign it says that no vehicles over 35 feet are allowed. This because the turns are so tight, long vehicles can't negotiate them. The corner the car facing in the pic marked 25 mph is to be considered a high speed sweeper on this stretch of road.

Tioga Pass from Yosemite to Lee Vining

And if headed to Yosemite via 120, you HAVE to take Old Priest Grade heading into Groveland

You mean like this? Downhill in third coasting at 70 mph and picking up speed.

The wife and I drive the Tail Of The Dragon, SR 129 that runs from Maryville, TN thru Deals Gap in North Carolina.
11 miles, 318 curves and a bunch of photographers set up at strategic locations that take pics and sell them on line. Southern pass to the Cherokee NC casino's from Tennessee.
The best time to visit is during the week to avoid the motorcycle madness and sports car clubs that clog it up over on the weekends.

Hwy 518 in Ontario, from Orrville southwest, very rural, very curvy, hardly any traffic.
