Two defining forces died for you. Jesus Christ died for your soul. The American Soldier died for your freedom.

"It's a lot easier to pacify a country when it's citizens can't shoot back" Gray Anderson, Mayor, "Jericho"

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him had better take a closer look at the U.S. Native-American Indian."

Although far from being a sought after collector car, our Bullitt model Mustangs do better than many, including the Mustang GT's of the same year. I'd guess mine is worth a bit more than half of it's purchase price, even though 10 years have gone by.

I've never understood the fascination with Maserati, I don't necessarily like the look, or the exhaust note of 'em. Totally believe in their ability to depreciate though !

I followed a Maser up I-5 for 20-30 miles once. Whoever was driving was experienced and smooth. Drove swiftly and well at some over the limit, handling the traffic well. Not overly aggressive, picked his or her moves well, just both quick and safe.

Their engine is essentially a Ferrari V-8 with 2 cylinders removed.

I especially enjoyed watching the independent rear suspension work. Really, it's a driver's car...but damned expensive to maintain, I'm sure. Plus the label is a bit ostentatious? Driving one would be too much like a gold neck chain & a gold Rolex.

Still, if one was willing to overlook all the shortcomings, a lightly driven 5 year old one might be fun...and for less purchase money than a new Bullitt Mustang.
