Yes, now that looks like a Mustang.

Regardless what that idiot at Ford says, an SUV is not and never can be a Mustang. I hope that one fails, BIG TIME.

Don't get me wrong, I look forward to a fully electric vehicle but they named the MACH E totally wrong. AN SUV is not a Mustang.

You do know they have deposits on all first year's production of the Mach E. Go see if you can buy one? You can't order it, they have already sold it out. I'll take that as it's not going to be a failure, it's probably going to be a runaway success.

They probably are not making a cent on that model.

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Wow, a Bullitt as the test mule for the Mach 1 development.
Hopefully this Bullitt was a PP that escaped the crusher!

Every Mach E sold will generate a profit for the Ford Motor Company.

Yes, I agree that this appear to be a "run away" success. BUT, I still don't think it should have been called a Mustang. Calling it a Bronco III would make more sense but NOT a Mustang.

I can see me having an EV in the future (once Battery technology has matured), but I will NEVER buy one of these because of the Name. A EV pony car called a Mustang, I would be all for that but not an SUV called a Mustang.

This is just a "Pet Peeve" of mine but I don't expect the general public to share the same feeling.

I too have some reservations about an EV Mustang, but the power to the wheels will be much greater than if it were a gas burner, even with Ecoboost. I imagine, reality of the long distance drivers be hanged, that the Mach E will be very successful. I see the cars with the T running all over our DFW Metropolitan area. Whether it makes sense or not to go electric, people are. If the have the money, and want to brag some, they're going to the battery. As for me, I'll stay with gasoline power plants. I want to hear the engine, and not a diesel either, another power plant for autos that I rejected.

Well, that may depend upon how R&D costs are booked and amortized

I'm cheering for the Mach E to be a success in the showroom and on the roads and look forward to getting a close look and ride in one at some point.
