Gas Prices

Don’t know about elsewhere but premium (93 octane) around here is now more than $1 a gallon over regular. May have to resort to using regular as the cost/benefit of using premium doesn’t add up.

Thumbs down

Regular gas here in Canada is the equivalent of $4.72 Canadian for a US gallon. Premium is about a $1.20 extra a gallon. Ya, it's a lot more, but since we buy our gas in liters, 40 cents extra a liter doesn't seem too bad till you think of it in terms of US gallons. Since I only fill the tank about 3 or 4 times a years, I'll just hold my nose and pay. It does run better on 94 octane.

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Around here, it varies based upon the station. Some are >$1 per gallon difference. Some less. In most cases, I now use 87octane for around town. I still use 93 when traveling. Seems to help more with the MPG when traveling longer distances. I also occasionally use Ethanol-Free just to try to clean out the system of the moisture caused by the Ethanol. It costs a little more but the increase in MPG easily offsets the additional cost.

Same as Houston. Paid 2.34 for shell regular today and premium was 2.99.

The Camry only needs gas about every 3-4 weeks, around 30-34$ a tank.

68k miles. 5.0 shifter, drop in K&N, 17x8 black bullitts, DHG pony in grille

Gas just went down in my area to $2.25 per gallon for Regular. Not sure what Premium is now.

I use premium with with ethanol at around 3.90 and in a few weeks will switch to non ethanol at 4.75 so the fuel system is somewhat protected while it sits all winter end spring. Don't drive in rain
