I may be in the minority here. Also I'm not sure this is Bullitt specific.
But I had an issue with the CD player/Radio draining the battery while the car is off.
I replaced 2 batteries and an alternator. Then found out all you have to do is turn the radio off (push in dial)
before leaving the car and its been fine ever since.

The multi disc CD players usually jam up, mine has some stuck in it. I rarely turn on the sound system, the music is under the hood.

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Yep, this is a known issue with Mustangs not just the Bullitt. Do you have this issue with a Shaker500 or Shaker1000. Generally, the battery drain has been associated with the Shaker1000 where the AMP does not shut down and causes the drain. The Shaker500 are known for CD error followed by the "Woodpecker" sounds. There are repair facilities around that can address these problems but in most cases an upgraded head unit is cheaper.

Blend door actuators. You will hear a rapid ticking noise when you turn the car on. Its relatively an easy fix and the part runs about $30. Also I too have had the door panel inserts come apart. A spray adhesive or a good glue fixes that.

chiggo26, that is another common issue with Mustangs. Wifey's '10 has had a couple of them replaced. If it is the one on the passenger side, easy to replace thru the glove compartment. If it is the one on the divers side, not so easy. I am not sure the 08/09 encounter this issue very often. I think the actuators were redesigned in '10 and that is when that problem started. With the 08/09 you will encounter a problem with the Shaker System. I will show a series of 'o's and then a clicking sounds (woodpecker as some call it). After a few seconds, you will get a message "CD ERROR".

So if you start hearing a clicking sound from the dash, check the radio. If you see the Os or a "CD ERROR" message, it is the radio. If no message, it may be the actuators.
