I have been really bad about posting pics of progress on my car. Here are a few recent items. My 390 is ready to go! I finally settled on "my perfect" highland green and car will be painted soon. I will try to add pics as I can.

I am finding it harder and harder to be patient. I just want the car put together. I've learned a lot throughout the process. I have to say I was quite naive going into this restoration. Ignorance is bliss I guess. I have found myself needing to recommit and double down various times along the way. Now I just have to see it out!

Looking good ! :clap2: :drool2: :clap2: :drool2: :clap2: I know how you feel John. It took me 28 years to finish mine. I know it takes time.... and more time... and then things will be coming together real fast and before you know it you will be driving the chase scene in your Bullitt. Your doing a great job! Keep us posted when you can.

Hey, Would you want to buy a super clean-low mileage ( About 4k and change mi.) '01 Bullitt to go with your '68 replica. I'm willing to sell to a 'Bullitt Mustang Guy' No really for the right price for what it is. ???

I thought about maybe picking up a late model Bullitt at one point, but have since talked myself out of it I think. Still need to get the '68 finished and then I will take things from there I think. Would love to check out your car though sometime! Don't guess you get it out much with only 4k miles on the clock:wink:

Sure I understand, sometimes I think it's time to let somebody else enjoy it more. I drove it yesterday to get it warmed up and rolled just over 5k on it now. I didn't realize it was that close to the next thousand mile mark. I still enjoy driving it once in awhile.
