Cheap tail light Mod

I was looking at the 1968 the other day and saw the chrome trim around the tail lights so I searched for some surrounds for the 2008.
I found some chrome ones for about 39.00, then I remembered I had some silver 1/4 inch striping tape so thought I would go out and test the look. When I got done, I liked the result and not too obtrusive but a subtle retro throw back and cost me about 3.00 and 20 minutes.
What do you think?
Thanks , Mike

It just looks right for the car. I prefer it over the raxiom "upgrades" because it looks retro. Isn't that what the '08='09 Bullitts were about? Being close in looks to the original?

A few years ago, I tried this for a while. Bought silver trim for the taillights and 3/8" trim around the tail area.

Mike, both Ron and you have a nice style enhancement on your cars. Excellent!
