I've found a pretty clean all original True Blue Bullitt with 66k on the clock. I have the vin and was wondering if you guy could help me out with finding out a little more info on it.
You could run a CarFax and see what that turns up.
You could go see the service manager at your local Ford dealer and ask him to run an OASIS report on the VIN.
You could provide the serial number from the sticker on the driver’s side shock tower and see if it was ever registered here at IMBOC.
That should provide you with plenty of information to review.
Good luck and remember, the True Blue ones are the fastest of the three.
If there is no sticker on the shock tower, I would suggest that you remove the back seat lower cushion and verify the serial number. There is a duplicate sticker under the seat. May be partially obscured by the carpet. Google seat removal using the seat belt tongue to release the cushion latches. Let us know what you find out. Good luck!
Wow, I never thought about using the seat belt tougue. Thanks for the tip. It's always good to check in, you never know what you might learn.
watched a few YouTube vids no one ever said us the Seat Belt!!!!
I asked Twostangwmn to check if 02424 had ever been registered at IMBOC.
She reported that this car was never registered by an IMBOC member.
So that answers that question for you.
That leaves you with the CarFax and OASIS options.
You also might consider sending Wonbullitt0647 a PM with the VIN. He may have the VIN in his massive Bullitt database.
Hope you find a sticker under that back seat. Keep us posted.
