The anticipation is killing me. Who can put this in the Bullitt archive when we get the answer?

Especially broken out into 1) New Bullitt, 2) Resurrected (and from what year/vehicle), and 3) "usage change" parts. This could save us a lot of trouble 30 years from now when we're restoring these things!

Nope. The seal is the same for the left and the right. Also, I only name the part, not wheter or not it is used twice on the car. The holographic labels were the same that were used on the shock tower and under the rear seat, look at item #20.

JayP, Actually while it is the identical size and shape, the Bullitt piece has a slightly different finish to it. It actually received a new engineerig part #. It is not the same as the 25th ann. knob.

Brake and clutch pedal are different. While the pad is the same, the assemblies come in to the plant in a different manner. The clutch part is just an arm. The brake comes in pre-assembled to the pedal box and the arm itself is different.

No. I believe up through 1998 the parts were handed. In 1999 we eliminated the handed rotors and went to a common part for L and R.

OK, for all those Bullitt-wannabees and imposters, get out those checkbooks!! Now tell us we got ripped off paying $3,695.00 extra over a GT. I still think we got the better deal, and we have an authentic car.

Some of those I would have never thought of. Others were missed and too obvious. So, what's different about the upper radiator hose, heater hose, cruise control cable, accel cable, and a few others? I didn't know I had a Cobra spare wheel/tire. What's the difference in that - clearance for the brake calipers?

Hell, I have GT owners come up to me sometimes telling me they liked the Bullitt, but couldn't justify the difference in price only to find out I paid less than or just a little more than they did X Plan and a $1500 rebate was a bargain for this car

OUTSTANDING!

So..."Engine ***'y" includes the (Cobra?) Alternator and Bullitt intake, etc...

Follow-up trivia question: What of these parts are Ford and what are farmed out (i.e. Arvin Mufflers)

To the ones that are taking their Bullitts to the 100th party and hoping to get some autographs from the Ford SVT brass. In my opinion the one signature I desire on my Bullitt is Mr T,s. He is with us almost daily, nearly two years of continuous support and this thread is a fine example of his knowledge and willingness to share it with all of us.Step up and take a bow Mr T., you are the man!!
