Numbers don't lie. The last date of production is firm since all 09 production started at the same time. My guess would be they increased the production of Bullitts to get the final orders in before the cut off. The Flat Rock plant averages well over 300 Mustangs per day.

wow, 300 cars a day. I'd like to take a trip up to the plant just to see that in action. I've been to the BMW factory down in Greer SC, but I doubt it's at the scale of a Michigan plant.

Rodney, 5386. Mods: Brembo front brakes, Raxiom rear LED lights, Raxiom infotainment center, AM AMR wheels, Tokico D-Specs, Eibach sways, Detroit Torsen true track diff, Vogtland/Ford FRPP springs, CS front bumper, AutoMeter gauge pod, VDO gauges and some other stuff...

That is not out of the question. I personally know of one of the German manufacturer's US plant that is running at 600 per day. Keep in mind that there are multiple shifts working during that period and not just a 8 hour day.

JLT Serie 3 CAI, FRPP 62mm Throttle Body, FRPP Performance Intake, Tune by ITAW, FRPP Hot Rod Cams, FRPP CNC Heads w/ FRPP Black Valve Covers, Long Tube Headers by ARH, and FRPP axle backs. Eibach Pro Springs with Koni Str.t (orange) shocks and struts, MM Caster/Camber Plates, Roush LCA, BMR Adjustable Pan Hard Bar, FRPP Front and Rear Sway Bars. Barton SHifter, 4.10 FRPP Gear Set. Steeda One Piece Aluminum Drive Shaft,. Conti Extreme DW 255/45 ZR18 on all 4 corners. CDC Chin Spoiler, Redline Quicklift Hood Strut Kit, Dynamat from firewall to rear body panel.

That's interesting. As I had mentioned, I'm 5386 and built on May 6th. Yours is 5550 and built 2 days later. That's 164 Bullitts built in 2 days!

One quick visual reference is the oil fill...'08's have a cap atop a short tube. '09's the cap screws directly into the valve cover.

Sirius radio was an option in 2008 and standard in 2009. Ambient lighting was standard in 2008 and standard in 2009.

ALSO, the 2008 were faster.
