Number of unsold 2019 Bullitts growing

Using the Ford inventory search tool
https://shop.ford.com/inventory/must...Order=Distance
there are now 42 new Bullitts for sale in a 100 mile radius of my location. This includes south-central PA, a lot of Maryland, and some of northern VA.
This number has been steadily growing.

Following the same pattern as with the 2001 and 2008 models. Was pretty predictable, yes?

Yep, I'm sure in a few months I will regret paying full MSRP, but for now I'm enjoying the hell out of my Bullitt. In remote locations like mine, however, they remain unavailable and will likely remain so unless interstate dealer transfers amongst the big chain dealers begin.

I understand what you mean but I won't regret it for other reasons. I haven't purchased a car off the lot for many years. But when I went to see the Green. The color was pretty sharp and then found out it had all 3 options I did what you did. Took it home . mrsp and all. Hell with ordering it this time.

It was mandatory for the 3 options in my case. Personal preference of course because the seats are something buyers really have to think about.
Like you I don't expect a bunch of them running around in my small town either.

As long as you are enjoying it that's all that matters.

like going to a convenience store.....you need something now, don't want to drive 5 miles or 10 miles to walmart or whatever when you can get what you need by pulling in the convenience store. you get what you need and gone. as others have said, as long as you are enjoying it and it was worth the convenience of having it now, so be it. you can always find someplace, sometime that you coulda got it cheaper. but think of all the smiles you have already had that you wouldn't have if you waited.

Two defining forces died for you. Jesus Christ died for your soul. The American Soldier died for your freedom.

Here in Southern CA there are 81 available within 100 miles. One of the problems (of many) here in CA is that the taxes and DMV fees add up to almost 10% on a new car, so you end up paying over $5,000 to the state if you buy a Bullitt. A disincentive if ever there was one. It'll inevitably add pressure to dealers to deal more. And we just elected a governor who is going to raise DMV fees and taxes.

We're heading into winter and at least the dealers around me in PA here are still clinging to their markups like dummies. I fully expect any Bullitts on showroom floors in the snow belt to stay there until April unless dealers start being willing to deal.

Doing the same search from where I live near Detroit, there are only 10 available. The radius goes out to just west of Cleveland.

There is a Shadow Black in Detroit and a DHG in Amherst, Ohio going for about $2800 below MSRP.

I wanted to wait on a better price than MSRP, but with a convertible to trade and winter approaching, I felt the need to close a deal. Before I began the process with a Philadelphia dealer, I tried my luck with a Reading dealer. After giving me a trade price (which I didn't like), the sales manager pulled the offer off the table and said he'd give me a trade price when the Bullitt came in. I wasn't playing that game, and moved on!

I'm also the custodian of my girlfriend's 2008 HG Bullitt #3915.

I do NOT regret paying MSRP for the extra time to drive this car! I am glad there are deals to be had so more people can go out, buy them, and have the time of their lives! I feel for the folks who ordered them early and are still waiting or have been told their delivery times have been extended.
