Love the Bullitt, but

Kind of miss my GT350, Bullitt is more fun to drive most of the time because it makes more low end torque but occasionally I miss the frantic craziness of the Shelby top end! Also does the DHG grow on you? It’s a little too dark imo,

DHG is a very unique color for Mustangs. Limited to the Bullitt only which means it is very rare to see one.

IMHO, if you have a DHG Bullitt Mustang, don't change it because it is a rare color. The black Bullitt is the same color black as other Mustangs so if you must have another color, start with a Black. Or better yet, start with something other than a Bullitt.

That's part of the charm and the reason for Mustang's popularity. You can buy one in all sorts of trim and performance levels. Want econobox MPG? Mustang can do with it's little 4 banger...if you can stay off the boost. Want OMG twisty track performance? Mustang offers the 350GT. Want to be king of the drag strip? GT 500 is coming...

Or, just subscribe to Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords and learn about the vast aftermarket and what the money guys are doing.

The Bullitt? Kind of a compromise car. So, you pay your money & make your choices.

From your posting name, I'd guess you want to be fast on Mulholland...a canyon carver. I'm not so sure a Mustang would be my choice if that were my main game.

It’s just I’m coming from a Lightning Blue, really liked that color, I do like the DHG or I wouldn’t have bought it, it’s just pics online seem to look better than the car in person, especially with no sun, I’m not a troll, lighten up guys, anybody who doesn’t think like the collective is a troll? Open your minds fellows

Keep in mind that this site is generally the domain of Bullitt owners, and while we are all a part of the collective, we all have varying opinions on what may or may not be the best way to personalize our cars as part of our desire to be unique, or not. Buying a new 50K Bullitt, or even a used one for that matter, is a choice that most of us have made because we really enjoy the idea of owning a Bullitt. Making identity altering changes to one of these cars, e.g. painting one a totally foreign color, seems to defeat the purpose of owning a Bullitt. So, while you can do whatever you want to your car, it might be reasonable to expect that you may get some resistance from members of the collective who own their Bullitts because they're Bullitts. Just sayin'!

I hardly find the Bullitt a compromise car.

Don't try to follow Paul's purpose built (soon to arrive) GT around a track...that would quickly teach you that your Bullitt is a compromise car. Don't try to take on a GT500 on a drag strip.

See what I mean about "compromise" now? I didn't mean it as a bad thing. Example..Bullitt would be my choice of the 3 for a cross county trip on public roads.
