Could the 2019 Bullitt have more than 480 HP?

I recently watch a video on the Steeda website where they dyno'd a new 2019 Bullitt and their dyno showed 435HP at the rear wheels. If one takes the 15% rule into account for lost horsepower from crank to wheels, the Bullitt motor would have to be making a lot more than 480 horsepower. If my math is good (or close) the engine in the 2019 Bullitt would have to be close to 500 horsepower and even then the math shows that to get close to the 435 HP at rear wheels, 500HP x 15% = 75 horsepower lost which translates into 425HP at the rear wheels and not 435HP so the engine would have to be above 500HP?
Did I see that video incorrectly? How cool would it be if the Coyote in the Bullitt was pumping out that much horsepower! Well, I can dream can't I?

Depending on the type of dyno, temperature, barometric pressure, traction etc, numbers can vary greatly. Yes, you can dream.

Yes, it was said by a few people who work at Flat Rock MI that every 2019 Bullitt that they tested was 500+ at the crank. The reason why Ford downgraded the numbers is because they did not want the HP numbers close to the GT350 which 526HP!

With tongue firmly in cheek, I'll say I really could have used that 500 horsepower when I-5 turned into a parking lot on me.

.and if you look at the graph, they stopped at 6,900 rpm. According to Carl Widmann at Ford, the BULLITT makes max HP at redline, or 7,400 rpm.... So it possible makes more than the 435 whp shown....

They're making up for the 1999 Cobra horsepower fiasco, when Ford substantially overrated the horsepower at 320, {IRRC)...

HotRod put a 2018 5.0 on an engine dyno. it make 497hp. I'ts safe to say they all 2018+ are at least a little under rated.

And very often it's better to dream than to be disappointed by reality.

Talking

Here's the SAE HP charts for 2018 GT and 2019 Bullit.

Notice how the Bullit torque curve kind of lays down around 3500 RPM, may be the transition to direct injection?

I remember when I got my first Coyote engined Mustang, my 2012 Mustang. I was looking at any and all articles and postings about the Coyote and read an article where K&N bought two crate Coyote motors and dyno'd them each on their (K&N's) dyno. Both motors were in excess of 450HP while Ford at the time was rating the engine at 412HP. While I might be a bit prejudice being a long time Ford / Mustang owner, one has to admire the potential of the Coyote and the brilliance of its design / engineering. Who knows what it is really putting out?

So that would beg the question is the GT350 / 5.2 making more horsepower than the 526 that Ford says????

And 511 would make sense for if the Steeda video that shows the 2019 Bullitt making 435HP at the rear wheels is typical, then 511(HP) - 15% (76HP) comes to 435HP at the rear wheels. Pretty darn amazing!

True, same problem here in Seattle if not worse. But it is nice to think about having it just the same...

Its always nice to dream. Numbers are just numbers.

Here is my stock 01 putting down 272/278 on a 50 degree day at sea level.

By comparison a stock boss 302 on the same day putting down 399/318:
