Salvage Bullitts

Starting a thread to keep track of salvage/damaged Bullitts. Might be helpful for future buyers in case some of these are ever not reported.

The rest from Copart:

VIN: 1FA6P8K07K5501612

Copart usually has one or two 2008 / 2009 Bullitt's on their listings at any time if you want to include them in the list.

Why don't those people just go home and leave us alone.

I'm mainly interested in S550 Bullitt's, and this is the 2019/2020 forum. I might start one for the 08/09 in their respective subforum but if you want to then feel free.

Just curious, has any members on this site "lost" their 19/20 Bullitt yet?

Swiss Bullitt Damaged but Saved

The garage where I bought my Bullitt doesn't miss work. Some are well damaged, others a little less. But not mine

Wow...so many new ones wrecked. Makes a person wonder if these owners (1) knew how much power they were working with & (2) could operate a manual...>.<

And you're in Switzerland right? That seems to be a crazy ratio of crashed cars considering how little you got out there.

Yes indeed. Some guys have the right foot just so heavy... Too much power for their mind 😉

WOW that is sad to see the newest Bullitts wrecked like that
The one stuffed in the rear is salvageable by doing what’s called a “Clip” Cut the back half off at the mid section of the rockers and 1/4 way down the windshield pillar and put another back half from either another Bullitt that’s wrecked or another one from the same platform 🙂

I had been told that, but would it really be worth it? They wanted $16k for it, which if you have to spend another $16k on a car for a good back end (granted you could buy a base GT) then I highly doubt it would be viable. I expect it will be a parts car unless someone is really ambitious.

First Canadian salvage Bullitt:

https://www.copart.com/lot/48342329

Has had a significant impact on the drivers side (even the instrument cluster is crushed) and given the secondary damage is described as 'biohazard', that indicates the driver didn't come out of it too well hence who I'm not posting a picture of the drivers side. I hope they were ok. Still, I expect this would make a good parts car for anyone wanting to make a replica Bullitt.

Current bid is $1550 CAD

Back on Copart, so I'm guessing it didn't meet reserve.
