Chrome Center Caps

Thinking about installing AMs Chrome Center Caps on #7702.

https://www.americanmuscle.com/centercap-chrome.html

I was wondering if anyone has found other variations of these caps? I am looking for a center cap that looks like Kiernan's ol' 68 that are American Racing Torq Thrust wheels.

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

John

Somewhere, WAY BACK, in the 2008/09 discussions, there is pictures of someone who used the pointed caps from chain link fences that were used to creates a similar appearance. Hopefully someone who used those can chime in here.

Fence Post Center Caps

Check out post #20 on the above link for a picture of the fence post center caps. While not exactly the same it does look similar to the Torq Thrust wheel center caps.

I am not sure if this will fit the 19/20 versions but it may be worth a try. Is cheap enough.

Take a look at "The Fuel Slut recovered" posts and you'll see fence post caps on Bullitt 2255. Kevin may be able to steer you in the right direction.

Go to mooneyesusa.com
Part # AA533 "Centre Cap Bullet 2 1/2"x 1 3/4

You will have to sacrifice your stock center cap as you need to use them to secure the moon eyes cap but worth it.

As this is a 19/20 discussion question, I believe that 2 1/2 center cap is too large for the 19/20.

Cookie,

You are correct. I believe the '19 Bullitt center cap measures approximately between 2 1/8 & 2 1/4 inches in diameter.

Would you have to measure the inner opening of the wheel cap? Or the outer diameter of the wheel cap?

Measuring the outer dia OD of the center cap and the inner dia ID of the hole from the outside of the wheel will generate slightly different measurements as you expect, because they do not fit exactly tight. I have used both measurements in the past to find center caps.
