Loud popping sound coming out speakers

When talking on the phone through my Bluetooth, I get a very loud popping sound coming from my speakers. Not continuously, just periodically throughout the call. At first I thought it was a rock hitting the windshield but it happens too frequently when on a call. Anyone else experience this?

I never have, but I always tether my iPhone instead of Bluetooth it.
You might plug yours in and see if the issue goes away.

Maybe it's the universe telling you to,"Hang up the phone and drive the car."

Are you sure you are not hearing the little HVAC airflow motors making noises? The sounds come from the dashboard. I know you mentioned speakers - which ones?

Its a loud pop/crackle sounding like coming out all speakers. Sounds like a small rock hitting the windshield. Not constant but every few minutes during a call.

I definitely suggest getting it into the dealer. What phone do you have and how old is it?

Maybe you can try a different phone to see if its actually the phone vs the car. I have a moto x4 android phone I use with the Google Fi with no issues.
