Over the past few months, the amount of spam hitting the webmaster, b-man, and membership email addresses has quadrupled.. I have some ideas/evidence as to why, but its a moot point now.
If you want to make sure an email you send to these addresses is read, please make sure you have the word "IMBOC" in the subject, or use the "Contact Us" link on the main page "www.imboc.com" or hit the little envelope icon at the top right of each forum page (just below the "Attn: Vendors" button.
I have seen a few valid emails trapped by our spam filters, so I want to be sure your emails are read.
In addition, I am starting to see a number of members, mostly new, who are emailing questions to me or the webmasters repeatedly, with the same question, when an answer has been sent.
This probably means that these people are not making sure that IMBOC.com is an "allowed" domain in their spam filtering software. I have sent one person at least 5 emails, trying to answer the same question. (They are not using their sign-up email address, so I have no idea what their user ID is on IMBOC.)
Please make sure that you have [email protected]
, [email protected]
, and [email protected]
as allowed email addresses in your mail app (or make sure that imboc.com is not being blocked.)
Oh, and don't send email questions for items answered in the FAQs
, you might not get an answer
