What BULLITT 1853 suggests is what I did to my GT and it does look sharp. It gets lots of attention, I have even been asked if that is the new 2003 Mustang. My Bullitt will stay stock.

It's a clean job. I like the hood and front bumper as well. Not a big fan of the wing, but again the car is clean.

Thanks

Bud

I dig the rims...they add a touch more retro look to the already retro-stang. The rest can be saved for a GT without the kick-a$$ Bullitt seats.

I concur with the majority. Nice job, wrong car to do it on. Would be like converting a orig Shelby back to a stock Mustang ... just is not done.

Garage
I think that set up would have looked good on my yellow '98 GT I had before, minus the wing. REALLY like the hood!! Also, at least the wheels were painted to match the car.

While not a gig fan of "wings" in general I like the job he's done with the car. Would I do it? Probably not. However this particular car would look "ODD" without the wing. The large "R" chin spoiler would look out of place if it weren't offset by something large on the back of the car as well.

I generally like your car. Really like the performance boost as well as well as the hood and wheel.

Just hope you got rid of that gaudy ass spoiler. The ruins the look of the entire car. The spoiler makes it look like it is owned by a teenage rice racer with more dollars than brains. "Just shove a big spoiler on it and turn it into a race car." If you haven't already, "can the spoiler". Everything else look great.

Johnny, you still have a long way to go down the slippery slope if you want to catch up with Terry's '08.

It's a 2000 R spoiler - it's all function, it's not just there for looks. I know a lot of the "R" guys that actually tracked their cars took them off because they really only do a lot "at speed", but after spinning out in 2001 that's exactly why I wanted it - downforce at freeway speeds.

I can't get over that there's actually 4 threads here ****ting on my car and I never saw one of them. That's priceless!

johnny-longtorso, please check in more often. That is always some interesting conversation going on whether it be in the 01, 08/09, 19/20 or one the non specific sections. Sounds like you have a very unique Bullitt. Please try to make it to a Bullitt (Hoondog) event sometime in the future. Would love to see it. As I stated earlier, I may not specifically like the spoiler on the back but I always love to see and check out everyone's vision of the Bullitt. Who knows, I may change my mind once I see the wing in person.

Thanks for checking back in.

I like that color green in the pics. I'd like to see more of the whole car. I remember back around 2004 or 2005, a guy from Florida had the R wing on a Blue (I think) Bullitt at one of the Shootouts. It didn't look bad. I think his user name was Arcangel?

2001 DHG Bullitt. Bought new on 9-29-01. 4.10 gears, drilled and slotted rotors. 9" front and 10.5 rear black Bullitt rims. GT fog lights and Mach 1 chin spoiler. SR lowering springs, JLT Ram Air, Webtronics sequentials, MRT hood struts, MSD c.o.p.s
