heater hose

Well it had to happen didnt it......
Put new rotors on all round and spent last week at nights polishing the Bullitt, and what happens on the way home from my mates garage?the damn T piece hose split and spewed hot coolant all over the engine bay and outside of the fenders.Needless to say not a happy bunny...
I have resolved the problem with a copper15mm YWith an 8mm insert soldered in and fitted.
Working fine, just need to clean the whole damn engine bay again now ready fo tatton park show.

Just been on autosilicones website again gordon and they actually do a 15-8-15mm plastic t piece which would directly replace perished piece.
Although i do agree the metal alternative would be better in the long run.

Well I looked for this on mine and cant find it, so I'm assuming Vortech may have removed it due to the water cooled intercooler being fitted.

Hopefully see you there, as Vice Chairman of the AACNW I will be around our Marquee a lot, the big one at the top of the main field.

saw this thread sitting there as a sticky and just letting anyone know, I still have (I think 2) 2 of the dorman replacement t fittings. they are plastic, not metal, if anyone needs one or you want it for a spare just in case. can't use it on my car since I don't have a B anymore.
