Tires?

I have a Mustang friend I met in 2001 that lives in another city and he is needing new tires for his 2001 GT Mustang. Any ideas for a daily driver and good on wet streets in Vegas?

money and size tires will help to dictate what to get.

Michelin, Continental, Goodyear, all good brands.

In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Garage
My Continentals are seven years old and still doing great in all kinds of weather. A more muted bounce compared to the original tires, too.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. I recently drove cross country (Huntsville Alabama to Las Vegas) and through a torrential rain storm in Oklahoma. The Pilot Sport 4S tires performed flawlessly (ride, traction, comfort etc). Best all season sport tires I have ever experienced.

Michelin: THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE! I promise you will not be disappointed.

Depends on what he wants to spend. I have Nittos on my 01 Bullitt and have been happy enough with them. Budget and type of use will help dictate what tires are good for him.

Another vote for the all season Continentals here...I've been quite happy with mine. I'm sure the Michelins are good too. Good wheel choice on your friend's GT.

Factoring out track oriented tires, there are only 2 options in mind:

1. Michelin PSS
2. Continental Extreme Contact Sport

I have #2 on #1986 and I can't express how happy I have been with them for the past year. No problem doing 65-80mph in the rain, great grip in all conditions, seem to be wearing well as well.
