VIC-TIM | Great pics Tony!!!! Thanx again for posting all those up. looks like a great time. seeing these on here may help to generate renewed interest and participation by people on here when they see what great fellowship the Bullittheads can have together. ...and no one on here is being forced or coerced into having to go anywhere else to enjoy all things Bullitt!! |

Tony Alonso | As the cars entered the street, we went around the block and then parked along the opposite end of the street of the movie car. Sean was signing Mecum posters that had a photo of the car. I was in a booth right next to the Mecum booth selling my Mustang books and literally was talking to a ton of people that were coming by to see the movie car. I was very fortunate to be there, however, I only had enough time to snap a few quick photos. it was a beautiful weather day there. |

Tony Alonso | On Saturday morning, these photos were from the staging area before the cars were led over to the display area. We had 23 cars and were permitted 25. The Bullitt Mustangs entered before all of the other Mustangs in order to have a clear shot to the display area of the movie car. |

Tony Alonso | After a group dinner on Friday evening, a few of us drove over the main plaza downtown where "Bullitt" was being shown outside. It was a hoot to watch the movie there, despite it being a cool night outside. |

Tony Alonso | These were taken on Friday before the main event. a cruise-in was organized at the mall, where I purchased a bunch of the special Bullitt T-shirts they had. They got sold out by the afternoon the next day! A band was playing at the cruise-in, and the rain had let up in time for it. There probably were 500 cars at the warm-up of all different makes. One of the '19 owners had a few ornamental changes on his car that I liked. The '68 tribute was sharp! |

Tried bookface once about ten years ago, took a full day to get the darn thing off my computer, I don't Tweet or Twitter, just not interested. Had to start texting but I can get more done in a five minute phone conversation than a days worth of texting and there is no record of the conversation (yes I watch the ID channel). All the guys at work do the bookface, a couple got fired for their posts, go figure... Wife is into bookface, phone is constantly dinging, drives me crazy sometimes. I do use Google but am getting tired of the pop up ads from all the businesses I happen to drive by, I'll be looking for a different search engine soon. Wanted to attend Somerset but work got in the way, glad to see pictures from you Tony. Guess I'm just old and set in my ways, I love my smart phone but I miss my old Nokia analog phone with the pull out antenna. Gary |
