That seems right. From what I've seen so far, they will all be 1FA6P8K0xK55xxxxx.

Here is a breakdown I put together 6-7 weeks ago: https://www.imboc.com/forums/425-19-d...ml#post3682385

Stumbled across this thread and nobody followed up after delivery but I assume everyone knows that the VIN and Bullitt serial numbers do NOT match. My VIN is 02053 and my chassis number is K2700.

Itís too bad they didnít match but it seems like a very difficult thing to do so Iím not surprised.

My VIN is really close to yours. 02063, but my car # is K2443. Build date was Oct 10th.

Fords4ever 12-08-2018 12:03 AM

Which date on the door jam label is the Build Date?

Thereís a date near the top (left) and then one on the very bottom.

My top date simply reads DATE: 10/18
Bottom date is 1201810174412 so 10/17/18 ?

The car landed at the dealer on 11/8/18 so three weeks from build to delivery.

Looking at my Bullitt's Cert Label, the bottom date, 2nd through 9th digits matches the car's build date. So yes, the Build Date is identified in the 13th digit string of numbers located on the bottom line of the Cert Label.

Good catch.

Greg,
How did you know what your build date was? What other source do we have to see that info? My window sticker says 10/17/18 BLEND, is that basically the build date?

Thanks,
Kelly

I would go with what your car's Cert Label says, which also is 10/17/18.

StangNut 12-15-2018 08:19 AM

Isn't the date on the door jamb sticker the build date? It shows a different date than the blend date on the window sticker.

Newby here. Ordered my '19 Bullitt last week and dealer sent me VIN today. Looking forward to taking delivery in several weeks.

Does anyone know if the 2020 Bullittís will still be ďKĒchassis numbered? I thought I read somewhere that itís K because they are 2019ís so Iím curious if the 2020s will be different or will they just continue on K....

In fact now Iím wondering did the Ď08/Ď09s have a letter in their numbers?

They will switch to L, which is the 2020 model year designator and the numbers will restart at 0001

They did not have letters in the serial number. The model year was indicated on the plate attached to the strut tower bar, and their numbers did not restart at 0001 when the 2009 model year production started.

Fords4ever 06-16-2019 09:25 PM

Yeah I wasnít sure if 2020 would be L or A.

Based on an earlier post in this thread I assumed every decade restarts at A. Then I started wondering how can you tell by the VIN if itís a 200x, 201x or 202x ?
