01' BULLITT Values Again

Are 01' BULLITTs selling too cheap? I keep thinking, like some others here that excellent low milage BULLITTS are being sold too cheap. The economy stinks and the value of our cars is only worth what A buyer Is willing to pay. I'm keeping mine for the long run whatever it is or going to be worth. like stock going down I'm holding on, not going to panic and sell too cheap no matter how lomg It takes. I know these issues aren't directly related, cars usually If not ever are A good investment but I choose to look at It this way. WHATEVER

i agree with you ron, dhg1994 is more then a car , its a part of me and the family in many many ways...I could care less how the value hold or goes...she aint going
anywhere , she is my baby.... in fact, if i could afford it , i would snap one of those ''cheap'' low mileages bullitts up in a heart beat
Kbb says they are worth 1400 more then a regular GT, cool they have them listed. I think the economy has to with the low prices on the low mile bullitts.
Ditto Mark. I don't need the money, I love the B, and it's in the garage. Life is good!
mach 1s and terminator cobras are next to drop values
Good '03-'04 Cobras will get harder to find, that haven't been beat or modded to death,as the years go by. The few mint ones left, will still bring good money! IMO,the Terminators, had the best built engines,of any factory late model Mustang.

they already have, at least Mach1

friend, former owner, showed me where they are going for LOW teens now quite often

I think the Bullitt pricing is just cause there is not a huge demand for them and aren't particularly sought after yet. They are pushing the envelope for a reliable DD (from a purchasing a newer card perspective/mindset), along with the economy, and gas prices.

People are not out purchasing toys when the economy is down, winter is coming on, high gas prices (well, were), etc. I think we have another 5 years before the price starts going up.

If I had the cash (Devorce Pending Not Likely) I would buy A MACH1. I also would like to have older MUSCLE CAR. I think the economy has also affected the M/C car market ( $ Down ). There is A number matching 69' SS 396 Chevelle for sale locally $12,000. One Can Dream!
The fall of the economy is hitting UK car prices so imagine it is for you guys in the US.

My own car is a perfect example as I brought it for £1,400 cheaper than the guy had initially advertised it for.

People aren't buying anything over 2.0 in the UK, most getting small diesels. Luckily for us the american cars have a cult following so there will always be interest for them, unlike domestic cars where prices are falling fast.
Mine is for sale for 15K and I am not expecting any miracles. 2729 is a great car and paid for. Many would think this is too high but I think many of the really nice Bs are going too cheap. Just my 2 cents.
I was thinking about your car for sale and comments, $15k is not too much in my book.I think you were asking more, but I wouldn't take less, If you don't have to sell I think the 01'BULLITT is a keeper. My take on it.
I agree as well. They seem to be selling to easy, and for to little.
As for #1074...
I honestly dont see a reason, or have any desire to ever sell this car. It's paid for.
I'll keep it, and keep modding it, until I am no longer able to work on it, or drive it...

By the way, Wifey has a 2008 King Ranch Expedition that sits outside, while the Bullitt sits in the middle of my 2 1/2 car garage...
Don't want no door dings, right...

Why are you selling?
I guess everyone wants them way way cheap I cant even get 7,500 for mine.......LOL:evil: :tb01:
On the bright side, if they were worth a lot we would be hesitant to drive them.

If you ever do want another B, they certainly are affordable. I actually think its better that way.

At my age, they will never be collectible in my lifetime. Maybe one of my sons or grandson can cash in when I'm gone.

Just my $.02

Would like new Bullitt

I would like the option to get a new Bullitt or perhaps an 07 GT 500. I have just one more Mustang to own (unless I win lottery) and want it to be the right one.
If I could talk *someone* into another B, I would pick one up.:wife:
I'm not loaded, but there are some good prices out there... makes one think about it :dhg01: :b01: :tb01:
I can't complain, she let me get my Bullitt instead of the new white/blue Shelby she wanted.. She's the best! :cloud9:
The 01 Bullitt was an is still a great value....i prolly paid too much for mine back in 2004 but its mine an the wife all ways reminds me "This is ur last car...right?"...to which i quickly reply..."uh-huh".

Boy, does that sound familiar
I have to say, I've got the kenne bell bug really bad. When I started my Bullitt search my intent was to find a Black one and do a KB setup. I stumbled across #0005 and the rest is history. But with prices so low now it's tempting to go through with my original plan.....:dhg01: :b01:
