Bought a leather boot through 5.0 resto along with a polished aluminum ring. a nice upgrade from the plastic and vinyl, was 5-6 years ago so I forgot the cost or even if 5.0 resto is even in business anymore, Co. was in Texas.

What is the material used regarding the factory shift boot (and e-brake boot)?

Is it "pleather" aka vinyl?

This is where I was thinking of purchasing. Just about the cheapest place online for the wheelskins and shift boots. I think I may buy a large shift boot and just make the ebrake handle cover from that material. I got some samples from them, and their customer service was really good. They may just even send me a square that I could cut to fit my ebrake handle. Haven't gotten a response back on that yet...

So far this is the one I have in mind

$69 for both the shift and Embrake boots.

They also do a cover for the armrest, but I wasn't really trying to change the look, just change the material.

The top of my shift boot is worn from trying like a hundred different shifters and shift levers. (well it seemed like a hundred). The ebrake is worn by the front though where the handle is too big for the recess it fits into.
