Not really a test but a 2 page article. Most interesting is it uses an iron block and is governed to a max 155 mph. To me proof that you can't just add a super charger to the stock engine. "testing with the light-alloy block allegedly was disastrous". Also it has a 6 speed transmission.

So, what's the weight difference from an alloy block to a cast iron?

Will an iron block add a few .1's to your quarter? And I guess I'd wonder if the added weight will make the handling a bit sloppier.

This new Cobra will fear NOTHING. She will blow Z28's and Trans Ams away. Way to go Ford!! Can you guys imagine 390 ponies out of the showroom? So cool. So expensive. $35,000. Add extended warrenty and tax and we're frirting with 40 grand. But so what. Just watch the Vipers and Z06 Vettes, but I never saw a Viper on the streets in my life. Isn't it about time everybody? I hope MM&FF Mag. sees this. They can shove their bowties where the sun don't shine!

Anyone else notice how much the 2003 Cobra rear deck spoiler looks alot like the Bullitt concept spoiler?
