It was amazing to see 12 Bullitts driving up and down the streets of SF...I think it is safe to say that the public was in awe!! These cars get the looks and comments when there is just 1 driving around...12 Bullitts driving around made people stop what they were doing and just stare!

Treva!! Great Job!!!! I'm still reliving the run through Guadalupe Canyon where 2971 and I were neck and neck at 100 mph and I stole a look in the rearview mirror and there was a SWARM of BULLITTS coming around the curve and down the hill behind us! That was truly awesome. Thanks to everybody,it was a great day. Cheers, Tony

Yes it was truely AWESOME!!!! I can only imagine what went through the minds of the other drivers who were on the Guadalupe. :???: Looking in there rear view mirrors and seeing 12 Bullitts coming up from behind, passing and blowing right by. Too bad there wasn't a black Dodge Charger to chase! We all had a great time. It was great to meet everyone and I hope even more Bullittheads will show up for the next get together. I'm so pumped I'm going to watch the movie tonight. :grin:

The weather was incredible today!!!!! The sky was so clear.
I had a great time!
It was great meeting everyone, but I still can't put all the faces to the screen names. Oh well

I was really amazed by the True Blue turn out. Considering the number built....

Many thanks to Treva for getting the ball rolling and making the plans with SFBull.(who missed out)

The sight of all of the cars weaving through traffic like a swarm of bees was unbeleivable!
The sound of all the cars tearing up the hills from stop signs was amazing!

I didn't want the day to end.

Boy, where to start! That run through the canyon was something that I will always cherish. I remember looking in my rearview mirror and seeing both lanes filled with Bullitts lined up in perfect formation. On our way to the canyon we passed through a residential area... imagine 12 growling, shiny Bullitts on a perfect Saturday afternoon... we passed by a couple on the sidewalk who turned to gawk, and I heard "What the [email protected]$k!" We laughed like crazy.
What a great group of people, and especially Ray- thanks for the kind gesture paying my toll. Also thanks to everyone for making my friend Robin (the bald guy) feel welcomed. I let him drive 5394 on the way home... needless to say he was in awe all day long.
One more thing to top off a great day- after I left the parking lot, about one mile down the road I lined up next to a loud 5.0 who was in the mood to go. I let him smoke the tires from the first light, but decided at the second light to give him a taste. I pulled one car length on him by 2nd, then backed off. Of course he refused to look at me after that.
Thanks again for a great day, and I hope to see you all (and more) in the future!

GreggVH those pics are spectacular! Being up front it was hard to see everyone all at once but you did a great job capturing the essence of the whole day. The experience I had will never be forgotten. The sound of 12 Bullitts roaring through the canyon is permanently etched in my mind. The people who live there must of though NASCAR was blasting past their homes. The hairs on my arms are standing up just thinking about it. Great weather, Stand up people, Perfect car it doesn't get any better than that. Finestkind! Can't wait to see more pics!

What was the Bullitt breakdown at this event by color? By Mach stereo option?

Unless someone can state otherwise this San Francisco event appears to me to be the largest to-date gathering of privately-owned Bullitts. Does anyone know of any gatherings that were larger?
