Just wanted to know everyones opion on this. I am not sure what the pro's and cons are:confused: . I like the 18's look but I cant help but think of how much tires are for them. Is there anything else to think about when decding to go with 17" or 18".

It's easier to clean the brakes and the inside of the wheel with 18's, especially the front!!!

Unless you're PY/PX/Cochise/SBJ and you take your wheels off to clean them

18" rims are typically heavier and will have a slight effect on the power delivered to the ground. But I'm all for the 18", they look sweet!

Cheers

18's will make your car slower due to the weight and the added diameter. There's a scientific name for it, but I sure can't think of it right now. Also, it will throw off the speedo and odometer. That can be corrected though. I say stick with the 17's.

I have 18s on 1543 and took care of the speedo problem with a speedcal.

I also have the 18's (see sig)). Note the O.D. (outisde diameter) is critical when replacing tires/wheels. I had 2679 tuned for the different tire size, but the speedo was within 1 mile an hour before the tune.

I wouldn't sweat a tune as long as you stay reasonably close the OEM OD which is 25.6" with the OEM tires.

My 18's with the Toyo T1R proxes (see sizes in sig) are at 25.6" for the front (yep, the same.), and 26" for the rears.

Those are the same ones I got except they are anthracite rather than black. I got them from that seller as well. I actually went to their warehouse and picked them up. Good seller and wheels are excellent.

Those are the ones I am thinking of going with sometime very soon. They have the nice Bullitt style with just a little bit of flare that the rivets serve up.

I think I've seen a set of these in anthracite (with the rivets) and they sure look cool. Actually thought about getting a set myself some time and mothballing the originals.

Where can you get a set of black 18x9/10 Bullitt's now? I went through OE Wheels ebay store and didnt see any listing for the ones without rivets.

I went with the 18's, I just think they look so much better than the 17's. It does kinda suck buying tires for the 18's, they're expensive...
