Do any of you guys know where you can pick up a pair of 18" replica wheels? I saw that one of us has put a set on the rear and was thinkng of doing the same if they match well to the originals. I want to preserve the original look of the car but be able to put the power to the ground after making some mods.

Bullitt/gg,

A while back one of the club members had a post on those wheels.

He sells them at a good price. His name is Kelly and he is in Victoria, TX.

I think his screen name is KRS01. Here's the post:

If you want to put the power to the ground then why would you get bigger rims?!?!? Get some 17x9 or just get the stock wheels widened to 17x10 or whatever width you want?

1248bullitt,

I was thinking of going bigger so that I could run lower profile tires while keeping the same circumference. I thought that both the width and lower profile help in putting the power to the ground? I could be off on this and if so I'd rather just get my wheels widened if it will have the same result. But I have never heard of widening existing wheels. Where can I get this done?
