George was kind enough to host our first meeting and joined the club. Five Bullitts showed up for the first meeting. Four of us cruised up to Augusta together. We had Moljay in the lead with his black Bullitt. Kurt and I were in the middle in True Blue. ScottD took the end position in DHG. What a site to have four Bullitts in formation for 130 miles. ScottD will be posting pictures of us lined up at MGW.

You should see George's shop! He has a massive amount of equipment and showed us how his products are manufactured. This is a class operation. It was great to see and touch the entire collection of products. The license plate frame is next on my list. After that will be the oil cap with the Bullitt logo when it is available (we saw the prototype). George is going to personalize a license frame for our Georgia Chapter of the Bullitt Club. To finish off my interior collection I purchased the pony cigarette lighter and two key chains today. I felt like a kid in a candy store.

Oh...George not only owns a Bullitt which is undergoing some serious modification but also a yellow 2002 Z06. We each had a chance to ride in it. This car is one serious beast at 380 HP. Needless to say Moljay and I had trouble keeping up with him on our way to Chiles for dinner. He left us in the dust on the acceleration ramp onto I520.

Our next meeting is January 12th. We should have more members by then.

John

Don't forget Pat, his wife and his DHG Bullitt! I didn't ask his screen name.

Yeah, a BIG thanks again to George and his hospitality. I'm a Ford man, but the ride in his Vette was a trip. That thing could really accelerate.

We talked shop, GA Bullitt club business, and George installed a MGW shifter handle for in Jay's Black Bullitt that he bought while he was there.

Scott D.

Ya, it was a great day...the only thing I can say I was sorry about was having to leave the fun early...but, George was a great host, and I too was the kid in the candy store getting some dress up goodies. 3230 and I were honored that George personally installed them. As for the Z06...WOW!!! My 11 yr old son even was blessed with the thrill...I think the Bullitt came down a notch in his little budding motor head. The trip down was also a thrill, to watch everyone rolling by staring at the Bullitt convoy was great! Leaving Atlanta in the morning we all had our hearts in our throat as Jay's beautiful black Bullitt almost had its front end taken out by a crazy ditz screaming into McDonalds...

Hey Gang, I am down in Orlando on a business trip, and this is my first chance to visit the site since our meet. I ran at the strip in S.C. on Saturday night, and drove 500 miles down here on Sunday, it's very cool to have a car that does both with ease! I only ran once because you have to wear a helmet, and George shared his with me and his friend Paul, who met us there with his Lightning. Driver error cost me a good time, I couldn't hear due to the helmet, and the loud El Camino that was beside me, so I spun like crazy off the line, and didn't realize it. I finally hooked up, and it pulled real strong in 2nd and 3rd, but I only ran a 15.775  The good news is that the shifter that George installed worked great, it is so much better than the stock one, I absolutely love it. You guys have done a great job expressing how awesome the meet was, and I can't thank George enough for hosting and making it an awesome experience. I am proud to call him a member of the club. I believe we are up to 7 or 8 official members, so it is really starting to get off the ground. I hope that many more of you can join us on January 12, as we will meet in Atlanta for that one. The coolest thing for me Saturday was watching 3 Bullitts in my rear view mirror! At one point, a car got in behind me, and John and Kurt went around him on both sides, and pulled back in. It looked so cool, and I had my Mach 460 cranking, so I thought I was in a music video for a second!

Hello Rome, welcome to the wonderful world of the Bullitt! I got your email address from your profile, and I will send you a personal email about the club, and I will also add you to the distribution list. Our next meeting will be on January 12, in Atlanta, we haven't chosen a location yet, but I am working on something that I think will be really fun. We are up to 9 official members now, and look forward to adding many more.
