Thank you for writing this article!! It was a great read & very informative! It filled in the blanks, and answered quite a few questions!
When I saw my first Bullitt, all that was told to me was: that it was from the remake of the movie & remake of the car, Steve McQueen drove. And, that there were a limited number of them made.
Now I know...the REST of the story!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Good write-up...Greg.......i saw a tv special about Jack Roush an his involvment in the concept program.....i dont remember if the car had the red brake calipers or not.

I had to go look at my Bullitt to confirm the C pillars were from a 94-98. Sure enough, they are identical to the ones on my 97. I can't believe I didn't catch that before.

as stated by Gina, I too was familar with them but not as in depth as I
now am

I have learned quite abit about these cars since I got mine last
year and your writing of it's early history has only enlighten me more.

I am so damm glad I now own one.
