How does one plug a Nickel - and why would one need to? Do they leak on occasion?

Having a press kit for the first ever Bullitt Mustang should be worth a few coins.

You know, I'm not a Bullitt owner (However I do have two 03 Mach's), but I can appreaciate what the car is. I wanted one in the worst of ways when they came out, but I couldnt swing it at that time. I sold my banner on here a few years ago and thought about letting this one go too, but I just dont know. I'd just assume to keep it, than sell it for a "plug nickle".
