The Drive Time Editor of the local Portland Or. paper was impressed by his time behind the wheel of the Bullit. The subject of his write up was titled above. the topless perfection was a refernce to the Lexus SC 320 and we all know what the flying Bullitt is. Earlier this year he took the Bullitt for road trip in the mountains and wrote a great feature story about it and never once complained about the exhaust drone. That story made me think of buying a Bullitt. Now at the end of the year he rates it as one of his best cars of the year. Here are a couple of qoutes. "It's the type of sound from the 4.6 Liter, 265-hp V-8 that will make you roll down the windows and turn off the stereo to hear it better, whether you're idling at a stoplight or speeding down back roads in eastern Oregon." " For this writer, it served as a perfect time machine, transporting me back to my youth, as well as providing a fun ride in the present." "The only bad part about the car is that it was a limited edition, with only 6,500 produced."
This guy gets it! I couldn't of said it better myself.
