Then with 2001 Mach 460 came the in-dash 6-cd changer w/o cassette. Now for 2002, they pair up the Mach 460 with the unit I have (AM/FM Stereo Cassette/CD) and pair the Mach 1000 with the in-dash 6-cd changer. Right? Needless to say, I can't imagine what the Mach 1000 sounds like!! </BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE>
All 2000 Mustangs had a "2 piece" radio, Mach 460 or not, with 1-CD and cassette standard. For 2001, Ford changed that part to be one unit. For all '01 Mach 460s, you have the 6-disc in-dash changer. The standard '01 radio is an AM/FM Stereo/1-CD/Cassette. For '02, there are 4 radio choices (not available on all models)... 1) The same AM/FM Stereo/1-CD/Cassette as '01, 2) $0 upgrade to AM/FM Stereo/1-CD/MP3 (same power as #1), 3) the same Mach 460 as '01 (AM/FM Stereo/6-CD), 4) Mach 1000. The brochure for the 2002 Mustang shows a Mach 460 with an AM/FM Stereo/1-CD/Cassette. That's a misprint.
