We hope to have hotel arrangements by September. We have to book early as there usually is not a hotel to be found around Tulsa that weekend. Several of our members have attended and it is a real class act. The organizers are thrilled to have us be a part of their event! Jim Hicks is one of the organizers and his son purchased Austin Craig's Bullitt!!

My wife wants to go, so we'll probably go. I just need a diesel to drag my trailer up there, since there's no way I'd want to drive the Bullitt that far.
Stacy and I have two other events planned for June and will need to see which dates before we can commit. Otherwise we should be there. I felt bad about missing SF, but it was just too much money for us this summer.
I dunno...will have to give this a lot of thought..hey..got a year...right?
Hey only 1180 miles WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!

I'll have to have the Bullitt set up for the drags and roadcourse! Lovin it

Tulsa to St. Louis should be an easy 393 miles.

(5111) For me it will only be 285 miles. That will be just about the closest event I have been to!
How far from me then?
Time to rack up some more air miles !
I am definately planning on making this one. I was so bummed last week knowing everyone was out in CA having a blast. Always wanted to try the car on a road course...Hmmmm... :D
cam, you'd better be there!! if I can make the run from Columbus, GA, you can handle that short trip... gotta reunite the 05 Nats trio of shaun/cam/kurt again!!

Can't miss it

OK....after being in San Francisco with all you Bullittheads, there is NO way I'd miss Tulsa!

How many miles from San Diego? Need to figure road trip info.
<<<<<<<<<<< Already excited :)
I'm there. I'm just about 3 hours away, so no way will I miss this!!!! Can't wait to meet all you guys.
Dang still to far for me to travel. Hopefully it will come closer to the east coast in the future.
KY, OK, CA........................

Ya knowwwwww......there are Bullittheads in the Northeast!

945 miles one way . ......................no way.:doubt:
Sorry we can't please everyone. We consider many things when choosing a location. Tulsa is about as central as we can get. William only one long day or two short days drive but can't predict the weather.
i know it is a long way off, but i am finally going to stop missing nats! see ya there!
811 from columbus, GA, over a thousand for anyone in FLA... so the southeastern folks have a tip to make too, gotta agree with droopy here (and not trying to start a fight on this) this is about as central as we can get... SanFran was a special occasion, being the five year anniversary of the cars, and the old movie location, etc, etc, etc... a special event might pop up in NY one year in the future, or even Michigan, and i could see the Nats organizers deciding they want to hold it there for such a reason, but mid-country is about the best compromise i can see the event staff making to please the majority...

besides, is 945 all that long? time flies when you're in fifth gear in a convoy, right?

It has been said before...if you don't want to travel to one of these events, start a regional event in your backyard. The Texas folks do it. The Canadian folks do it. I don't drive my car much, but I made it to the Ford 100th in Dearborn and the Mustang 40th in Nashville. If you want to go to one of these events bad enough, you'll make it happen.

Tulsa is close for some and far for others. The organizers do a great job of putting these things together and the event locations haven't been convienent for them either. The participation is unbelivable though. Over 50 Bullitts and over 100 people for SF. I bet Tulsa is at least 75 Bullitts. Looking forward to it. I hope I can make it.

I might even road trip out there with you from Ohio...that is if a Bullitt owner wannabe would be permitted!
Tony, when are you going to buy a Bullitt?
Dallas

You just need to buy a Bullitt. That would solve the whole problem. You know you are always welcome at ANY Bullitt event !!!

For the one in Kentucky, my bud with his Mach 1 came, had a great time and was treated like he was and had been one of the Bullittheadsand he had a great time. I am going to see if he wants to make the trip to Tulsa. I am going to try to make this one. If he goes and you go, there will be at least 2 Mach there. Also at the Kentucky Nats, someone else brought their Bullitt and their Mach. Don't hesitate....do it!!!!!
