When my bullitt was stock when I got it had 50 k miles and it would get close to 30 mpg
Now with the vortech and 3 73s. It's like 23

Well I cannot imagine that the 3.73's are making that much of a difference for the lower MPG that I was getting there and back.

IIRC, there isn't much difference in rpm using different gears at speed. Imho, it's more the tune, the tires and the gas pedal modulator..... :rolleyes:

I would also suggest that due to there being measureable differences in specific horsepower and torque output from engine to engine, there is probably also going to be measureable differences in how well they perform efficiencywise from engine to engine, car to car. But that is just a suggestion. ;-)

American restoration episodes 45 and 46 are route 66 based .in 45 they are in angel delgados shop in seligman Arizona.hollywood Steve's barber..
