This is Renee typing (with Chuck's permission). Thank you for all the kind words and well wishes. I am better with every passing day, and according to the medical information, I should be healed in 9-12 months, and if not, then I will need to have glue inserted in my sacral spine. The worse part was free falling, like in a dream, wondering when the collision will occur, and then to have my cap and ponytail come off was a bit embarrasing. But living with Chuck for 45 years has prepared me for being embarrased. LOL I am fine, and ready to get back on the road to Springfield, MO., for the Nationals. I will not be getting on any rabbits, so I won't have to ask Chuck to get me off.

So, in my spare time, I've been Scrapbooking the trip.

I am almost finished with Tour Day 5, which is Day 9 of my entire trip.

So far, I think I have about 50 pages, and the Car Show is Day 7 and there are SO MANY pictures to choose from.

I am not a fancy Scrapbooker, like some of your wives probably are ... Since this hobby is secondary to Mustangs for me...but at least I do have some "girly" genes in me!!

I plan to bring the albums with me to the 45th event in San Francisco if anyone is interested in re-living the Trip.

I do have to say that it's been SO MUCH FUN doing this, because I get to re-live it step by step every time I sit down to Scrap !!

And buying the iPad before I left for Chicago was the Absolute Best Thing, because I was able to journal my way across the country (sitting in the back seat of Pauls truck - and sometimes at night in the hotel rooms) and get all my thoughts down . . . Before I forgot them. THAT has made the Scrapbooking process so much easier.
Anyway, blah blah blah ...
I can't wait to be done and see the finished product, that I'll get to cherish for all the years to come.

Treva I am doing the same thing. I assemble the picures and video in order, edit, add captions, add music and then put everything on a DVD. Since I can only get one hour on a DVD I have decided to put each state on it's on DVD but like you I end up taking the trip all over again. What a ride! I have only finished leaving Chicago but have assembled IL, MO and OK. That leaves a lot but maybe someday it will be done.

You guys are s-o-o-o organized. I'm still looking at them on my camera.....

I did download them to a pc, but thoughtsss??? I have none apparently.

I'll look forward to the 45th and your scrapbook Treva.

Mike, maybe you could make a couple dozen copies of your DVDs for those that made the trip with you? :D

David I do plan on giving those that made the trip some copies if they want one but the set will probably be 5 or 6 DVD's and boring to most. I am looking at using Blu-ray for those that can play it to cut down on discs.

What a nice thing to do, so looking forward to seeing these. I honestly don't know how you kept your ride going straight some times when I went around you Mike. You were multi-tasking for sure getting what I truly believe will be a treasure trove of shots when you get them all copied for us. Many thanks in advance.

Bill I was very busy taking video of the seat, floor, dash, roof and sometimes a few Bullitts. It was the first time out for a new camera so I was having to make some adjustments.I do look foreword to sharing when it is acceptable.

Treva, will you be bringing your work in progress scrapbook to the QM Long Beach show? Just a preview for us West Coast Bullittheads...
Hmmm. I hadn't planned on it... Seeing how it's not a finished product ... I've only got a few more hours of time to work on it before I head down there ... I'll think about it, since you asked! :)
