Since everyone might want to know where we're going........

It's taken a while to finish these because there's so many places to see and so little time.

We will have a book for each participant containing these directions at the start of the tour.

Here are the first four legs of the trip. Pictures have been deleted from these files due to size.

Please keep in mind that the stops and sites are not mandatory for the participants. Feel free to make an extra stop or two if you feel there is a different site not on the list that you would like to see.

We included several segments of driving on the old road where the conditions are known to be good.

ENJOY YOUR TRIP AND SAFE TRAVELS!!

Kewl! Printing these out as you are posting them.

No photos.....Do you still have them? Are they worth saving and printing out as an actual photo later?

I looked up a few of the photo ops. I think I know where most of the 2013 calendar photos will be coming from. Well Done, organizers of this event.

Remember, if you can, to take photos at these landmarks during soft light conditions; before mid-morning and during the late afternoon.

Our biggest concern was spending too much time in a big city with lights and traffic....a group of 15 can get separated very quickly and get further apart the longer you try to traverse a downtown area....so...we avoided those kind of options.

Early Sat AM would not be a traffic issue. Keeping 15 in check would be a daunting task and Chicago doesn't allow trucks on some roads we'd consider taking, sorry Paul. However, with the committee's approval, I am willing to leave the hotel early either by myself or with anyone else to be back in time for the 8AM start time. Just seems a fitting way to kick off a Rt66 trip and all.
