SoCal BULLITT Regional Team '2012 Gathering of the BULLITT Herd'

Car Show Date: Saturday June 2nd 2012
Location : Boys Republic, Chino Hills, CA

The SoCal BULLITT Regional Team is working with The Friends of Steve McQueen and The Boys Republic on their
2012 BULLITT Movie Them Event.
The Boys Republic will be turned into the streets of San Francisco to include a 1968 jump diorama.
Stop by Enrico’s Restaurant just around the corner where you can meet up for lunch
and get some information passed.

Now the plan is to have 150+ BULLITTs arrive on scene to take charge of the bad guys in
San Francisco you know the ones in that 1968 Black Charger, like run them off the road.

Plan on meeting Chad McQueen and family along with some of the Stars and Crew from the making of the 1968 movie BULLITT.
Possible Stars like Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bissett, Don Gordon, Pat Renella , Robert Duvall, Lalo Schifrin and others.

Yes, there will be a Friday or Saturday night event.
Details are not confirmed yet, but so far, the tentative plans are spectacular!

Notes:

The plan will be each BULLITTHEAD will need to make their own reservations
for both Hotel, Dinner and Car Show in 2012.

The word is 'Pre-Registration Only' in 2012.

Count me in!

I was not happy to hear at the show of their plan to move the show to Sunday. (I work for a Church and they keep me pretty busy on Sundays).

I really enjoyed attending the show this year. Great organization, and it is a nice facility that is well maintained. Throughout the day the link to Steve McQueen and what he was about as an actor and as a man was very tangible. And oh yeah, they had a really wide range of cool cars (including Bullitts) to check out.

Boys Republic is a tremendous facility and I really appreciated the way they involve the boys in putting on the show. I had breakfast and lunch at the "French Cafe" (which is the dentists office the rest of the year). The boys tried really hard to serve us with the appreciation they felt for being able to be a part of the event.

Boys lives are literally being saved by this very worthy institution. It is definitely worthy of me contributing one Sunday a year of my time to help them.

Kind of Bummed its a Sunday too as we trailer a sidecar there and the Bullitt...it makes for a very hard Monday and I told some car guys at work and they too are bummed its a Sunday....It will always be great but man I wish it was the normal Saturday....
