OK if Treva and Kurt are going, I have to go. I will see if I can sway some other Texas Bullitts to make the trek as well!!
I guess we will take up a bail collection just in case....

We are after all driving two through two thirds of the US and passing through some small towns along the way....

Should we warn them?

I noticed a Bullitt dinner for a $100.00 pp on the register site. Anybody have info...date and time? Anybody plan on attending?
Details are not finalized for this event. But it will be worth the price tag. We will post up details as soon as they are available.
Brian,

The dinner event is totally separate from the car show. $50 gets you, your wife in plus your car in the show. 12 and under its free for your son. The dinner is a neat event but not all the Bullittheads will be attending.
Chuck, the $100 donation includes admission to the car show. You are preregistered through the LL run. The dinner is a separate event that is offered at $100 a ticket.

OK just signed up for the dinner and paid for a guest at the show, and of course a shirt. Now I know everybody said this but let me get it right, I just paid for the show(Dinner) that means I,m paid for the event too....if that is the case there was nowhere to say what I'm bringing...thats whats odd
No the dinner event it totally separate from the car show. You have to pay separately for each. So you need to pay $50 for the car show entry and $100 per person for the dinner event Friday night.

I would try to get a little dressed up for the Friday dinner event. It was a classy little affair last year and will no doubt be the same or more so this time around. Besides, it's always fun to get into the spirit of the occasion and a pair of slacks and a button up shirt can't be all that hard to bear for a few hours. Save the t-shirts, shorts and flip-flops for the car show on Saturday where you'll be right in style.
You don't understand. I do not think there is a picture of Paul in existence wearing anything other than a T Shirt. He does not do collars.

Where did everyone get their SM jackets??
Just got my Lt Frank Bullitt tweed jacket. Already have my turtleneck. Now if I can find some shoes I am set!

The GBX is a bit more rugged and way comfy... ;) I wear them to work sometimes and they are very nice.
BTW, Paul, your hawk would look great with those chic glasses and mustache/burns (or whatever you call that)
Jim where did you find your shoes??

One must have the appropriate attire to attend such an important Bullitt event. Any other way would be rather uncivilized.

Now pass the beer!!!
Here is the closest sweater to the movie I can find. At $189 my blue turtleneck works fine....:eek:
We made it toChildress, TX about an hour ago. Spent last night in Winslow, AZ. Home tomorrow!
Special thanks to Michael, Rocky, Bret and all the other So Cal Bullittheads that worked with The FoSM car show to make it an outstanding Bullitt event! it was awesome!
You are correct. It was in attendance!! With your help Michael we will try to break 60 next year for the 45th at both events! That will be huge!!! 60 in San Francisco and 60 in Panama City Beach!!!
