I stopped by a local FORD dealer on Friday. I was looking for a new EDGE and decided to take my 2020 for a charge the battery ride. The sales manager asked me if I wanted to sell my 2020 DHG with 1200 miles on it. I told him...get me a number. He came back with a bit over $46,000.
Is this realistic? Have any IMBOC members sold 2020's lately?
Considering the state of the economy, and my health issues, should I take the offer and run?
Thanks for your feedback.

Sorry to hear about the health issues. As far as the dealer offer on the car its good money. Is he planning to buy you out of the car as a separate purchase or is that a number he gave you based on a trade for another vehicle you were looking to purchase? If it is a separate purchase then yes, it’s a pretty good number for sure.
Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I've been fighting intestinal issues for a year. To date after a ton of tests, no relief. I really can't enjoy the BULLITT at this point. Hopefully, the medical profession can get me back on the road. But I need to look at all my options. The dealer offered me a $46K buyout, a check, no trade. I was hoping for a bit more. I'm still considering the offer. I also invite any IMBOC member to make me an offer. The car has 1200 miles on it, all the options but RECARO seats. The car has had recall completed and services completed in June 2022. The car is as new. BULLITT number is 3166 bought in August 2020. Car is DHG. Car is in Western Pennsylvania.

Thanks for the input. The offer I got was fair but I know most dealers will add $5K as an asking price. Yes, they are taking a chance to keep the lights on!
19 and 20 BULLITTS were sold with and without discounts and rebates. Since I bought mine in August 2020 there were no factory rebates. The dealer did do a small discount for me.

I had a 2019, exceptional condition, 5400 miles. I also had medical/family issues and needed the money. I also had every option except Recaros. The selling dealer, after negotiating, offered 45,500. I took it.

I believe the 2019 and 2020 Bullitt are at their price peak and will drop. In another couple months about 1/2 the owners won’t be able to drive them due to summer tires.

sounds like dealer made a reasonable offer. I would do almost anything to have mine back again. PM if you are sincere in selling please!!

Thanks for the input. It's hell to get old. If I sell, a replacement will be a lot more money. If I don't sell and the economy tanks, then I lose. At this point, money isn't the issue.
I hate to see my BULLITT keep the garage warm. If things go South for me, it's just another issue for my wife to worry about. $46K seems like a reasonable offer. I need to do some soul searching over the weekend...

Army - will keep you in our prayers. $49K retail is about what one is seeing here in Texas for low mileage 2020's. So $46K would be in the reasonable range for a dealer.

Thanks FCGP!
I think you are spot on with your values. Legendary Motor Cars out of Canada had a very low mile 2019 recently listed for $49,995.
It's now up to me to make a decision.

I may be selling my 2020. Same options as your 2019 with just over 1300 miles. I have a post started on here about it with some pictures and my price based on NADA.

An older gentleman once told me ...why keep the car clean and polished and rarely drive . In the end when you sell the car you have never enjoyed it and saved it for someone else that is getting a great car never used !!!
That older gentleman must have been demented because he missed the whole point of owning a Bullitt or, for that matter, any other item of beauty. It is not just to drive, and that provides a lot of enjoyment, but it is also to enjoy just looking at the car, as if it is a piece of art, which it surely is. When I am frustrated with the world and such, I spend some time cleaning up mu Bullitt and stacking another layer of ceramic on my beauty. Or, if the weather permits, to go for only a short drive and put the pedal to the metal, just for fun. My Bullitt is the best mental health prescription for me and definitely far surpasses any other means of laughing at life.

"Piece of Art"...yup! This hangs above the 'Bullitt Bay', a neighbour artist who specializes in car grill renditions loved the Bullitt front and did this for me over the winter, kinda neat!

This is beautiful. i have purchased about every Bullitt poster, sign and wall hangings including a couple of 6' X 6' pictures of scenes from the movie. If this artist wanted to make more of these I am sure they would sell like hotcakes. I would definitely buy one or two.
