yeah, that sounds about right... coming from a dealer. got 07 alloy v6 and DHG 08 bullitt from the same dealership, the bullitt was 28,600 and the v6 was 16,600.. we do business with them a lot and even then they still both have 5.9% financing. It's such a shame when a dealer has a car from 07 and 08 around this time, being specialty cars at least, because they won't go down on pricing. :doubt:

Last week I paid 31620.00 for a new 08, less the rebate of 4500.00 for a net of 27120.00. Sales tax and license fees brought the OTD to 29,706.00

Finance was thru a local credit union @ 6.75 APR for 60 months.

That is a very fair deal - I sell them and that's about the right pricing now.

Just to clarify, mine has HID, Shaker 1000, and Ambient lighting. And they threw in the GT hood scoop at no cost, but I have to have it painted and installed on my dime.

I paid $35K for mine, with 7.9% financing.

Do the math.

I paid 32,270 for mine (MSRP), got raped on my trade, and got 7.9% from FMC. A few months later I took the loan away from FMC and refinanced for 7.24% with free GAP. The upside is that my car was in a showroom for only 2 weeks before I bought it and I got a low number. I'm glad now that I acted when I did, since the loan companies are now not letting you lump in negative equity like they used to.

I purchased my "Bullitt, #2939" April 8, 08, at Grand Prairie Ford in Grand Prairie, Texas. The sales manager, Robert Ashley sold me the car for $4,000 below sticker. Thats right. Car listed for $33,990, cash price was $29,990. Of course, after adding tax, title, lisc. it was more. Thought this was a great deal. I shopped with 5 dealers in the Dallas-Ft.Worth area before I bought my baby, uh, "Bullitt"

I bought my black 08 #1949 on November 1st for $24995 ($7k off of MSRP) in San Jose, CA. It took me a few weeks to make the buy and I'm happy I did. I had an offer of up to $8k off of MSRP at another dealership. Just depends on the dealership and how committed they are to selling cars.

Welcome to the family, Joseph. I am sure you will love the car and browse around this site and you will learn a lot of neat stuff. One thing you may find in your browsing, is while you may have purchased an 08, the Bullitt was the "test bed" for the 2010 Mustangs so you actually have a 2010 in 08 clothing. It is neat to own a piece of automotive history.

Now that the order banks are open for the 2010 Mustangs, the 08s are now two model years old so I would expect many great deals on any left over 08s.
