What are you doing? Trying to shame me. :D

With all the rain we have been getting lately, 852 looks horrible. Now, I am going to have to go out and clean it up. It's all your fault. :rolling:

BTW, looking good.

Oakland? Damn, back when I'd just go on drives, Cindy & I would stop there, eat lunch at a place called Tolly's...is it still there? Love the funky main street, the brick buildings.

Anyway, looking good! Maybe I'll catch some inspiration. :)

Beautiful car, nice pictures!!! I just took a clay bar and some Wizard Shine Master to my 2009 #6498...…..I couldn't believe what a clay bar can do!!!

The finish looks like green glass...….

Now if it would quit raining is Western PA!!!!!

Tolly's has been closed for awhile, but it's in the process of opening up again. I saw that they're hiring now so coming soon!

Damn, I kind of miss the road trips Cindy & I used to take...health issues sort of made them a bit of a hassle. Maybe someday...like I said, Oakland, OREGON is a nice small town. Probably great to live there..

I mentioned in another post that we have a chemical guys shop open nearby, so buying a few things here and there, like the clay bar kit, but with the last little rain (we are in monsoon season) we got, it just left the cars filthy. The wife was asking when I intended to wash the bullitt, but leaving it at a park& ride, when I jump into a vanpool, it’s almost camouflage just to leave it as dirty as possible, so would be thieves may pass me over. Plus, it’s been in the hundred+ degree range the past few weeks... just too damn hot!

Love Phoenix in February, not so much in July. But, it's a dry heat. I'll take Phoenix over Houston in July. As they say in Texas, the humidity is "special."

The 2008/2009 models are as close to the 1968 car as we will get...……...beautiful profile and wheels. Every now and then I get the urge to shop for a 2019 but...……….for some reason I need the 2019 horsepower but I just can't get excited about the car...…….BLACK WHEELS...……..a no go for me...……….and I'm a no mods guy...…….no aftermarket stuff on a collector car!
So, I guess like pwd72, I'll continue to drive my old slow 2009...…….hopefully it's not worn out with just over 13K on the clock.
LOL!

Agree. I am sure if you had a mid seventies King Cobra in 1975, you thought it was more modern and somewhat cooler than the '68 or the pre '73 cars, but look at it now. S197s were pretty ground breaking, just so common now that people forget the craze to own one in 2005. I say put on a power added on and save your parts. These cars rock (especially with 475 RWHP). Drive it and be the person who have a cool retro futuristic 2008 that everyone will envy in 2040.
