THis is unrelated to the Bullitt but I wanted to get you guys input.

I am looking at a couple of '84 1/2 Anniv. Conv.'s. One has a 5spd and the other has an Auto. I am undecided which way to go.

From a collector's standpoint does it matter there were about 100 less manual's made? The car will only be driven in good weather & on weekends.

I could go either way but don't know.

Thanks for your help.

I my self am a fan of 5 speeds, except when it comes to traffic  . If it is just going to be a cruiser I say 5 speed. On the topic of collectability I have no Clue which would be greater

I would go with the 5 speed just because it is going to be worth more down the road if you plan on selling it. The Auto is nice for traffic but even then it is fun to power shift around when you get a traffic brake.

Yeah when I bought my last Vette I got an auto and was so bored withit after about a year I ended up selling it with less than 4000 miles on it. I kept my previous manual 6 speeds much longer. Now I only wish they made the F150 Lightnings in manual.
