Went out to get the paper Sunday morning and found that someone had hit my car with an egg. It hit on the top of my rt quarter panel and left the famous egg rings. It ate all the way down to the e-coat primer..What a way to start a day!! I will have to get the qtr re-painted and all.So much for any mods for a while..

Things like that are what make me glad that i got a 100 dollar deductible. If a bird craps on my car and i dont like the way it settles on the paint then i am claiming it. Sorry to hear about your luck. With any luck you will find out who did it and beat the ever living $h1t out of them.

MAN!! That is harsh, I feel for ya' a friggin CAT got my trunk a few weeks ago and left some nice scratches on the deck lid that won't seem to come out  but I cleaned out my garage last weekend for the SOLE purpose of parking #5467 in it ~ now it stays CLEAN and I don't have to worry about cats or kids or vandals/theifs. Best thing I did all month! I hope you get it fixed !!

my garage is clean, but no opener. So i will be calling around today for some prices on garage door openers..I know some of you will say just get out and open the door, but when you have to do this 2-5 times a day it gets old real fast..PS yes i would like to catch the fugger that did this..I would use his teeth to scratch his car..

State Farm offers $0 deductible comprehensive. In my case, going from a $500 deductible comprehensive to $0 deductible was all of $14 more for 6 months. The nice thing is they don't require you to have the same collision/ comprehensive deductibles, so I have $500 collision, $0 comprehensive. Look into it...

My Caprice & Bullitt have both been egged several times (we live around the corner from the high school). The only time I had a problem was when I didn't get it washed off for about two days, but the residue buffed out without too much effort. I think modern clearcoat actually protects against eggs pretty well. Are you sure the paint is damaged?
